Individual Online Therapy in San Francisco
We provide individual therapy throughout California with a relational lens, helping you explore how your internal world shapes your connections with others.
Individual therapy gives you the space to understand yourself better so you can show up differently in the relationships that matter most.
Your relationships don't exist in a vacuum–they're shaped by your past, your attachment style, your fears, your patterns and more.

What to Expect in Individual Therapy
This is your time to think out loud, get honest feedback, and figure out why you keep running into the same stuff. We'll go at whatever pace makes sense for you.
First session: We'll explore what brings you to therapy, your history, and what you're hoping to work on together.
Ongoing work: Sessions are typically weekly or biweekly. We'll work collaboratively to address your goals, understand your patterns, and actually shift what's not working in your life and relationships. It's a blend of practical support and reflective space.

Every situation is different, but here’s a general guide to consider:
Choose individual therapy if:
Your partner isn't willing to come to therapy
The issues are primarily about your own mental health (anxiety, depression, trauma)
You want to work on your relationship patterns outside of a specific partnership
You need a supportive space to explore your own thoughts and feelings
Consider couples therapy if:
The issues are primarily about the relationship dynamic
Both partners are willing to participate
You're struggling to communicate or resolve conflicts together
Not sure? We can talk through it in a consultation and help you figure out the best fit.
